Morning Coffee on Our Deck
Inspiration came from a longing for spring. My lamp was made in winter and contains various design elements- 3 sisters, 3 cats, 6 different styles of bird houses, birds, tree branches, flowers and a steaming cup of coffee.

Three Sisters
I made these three armature sculptures in honour of my sister Diane. I used a thrift store silk dress on all three of the sculptures. To give each of them their own personality I altered the wool colours and their hairstyles. The three bases were created by Trent Watts and are from one Banksia Pod.

Separate Yet Connected, a 2020 an online COVID theme project by Fiona Duthie.
My submission is from the perspective of a 5 year old pig called TP., who loves everything about toilet paper. When she learns of the shortage of toilet paper, she decides to share her extensive supply so there can be enough for everyone.

Hugo Boss
I grew up on a farm and there is no love lost for those mean roosters. It was a pleasure to create and stuff this soft sculpture!. I think if you store your sister’s wedding dress for over 25 years you are allowed to repurpose it!

2018- Isadora Eaton (blue hair)
My inspiration was the Eaton sisters (Doris, Mary, Pearl) of Ziegfeld Follies. They danced in the theatrical show from 1904-2010.

Rosella is an ode to my mother, who finally let me at age 5 use her sewing machine and her supplies. This sock monkey really is my alter ego. I grew up on a dairy farm and really believe velvet and high heeled boots are appropriate attire for milking cows!
